RENOVATION : THE BARN

This barn, built in 1853 in upstate N.Y. , was meticulously dismantled and reconstructed by Kirby Perkins in Rhode Island. With true post and beam construction, real threshing floor and sips panels that were seamlessly integrated into the construction, the rehabilitation has given it a new life and use. It also features a geo-thermal system for efficient heating and cooling.
